Flax Chart of the Week
Flax exports climbed again in week 42, with a sizeable shipment out of the St. Lawrence, headed to Europe. This takes year-to-date licensed exports ahead of the 10-year average and is another signal that the Canadian flax industry has recovered from the Triffid issue back in 2009/10. The strong pace of exports recently may back off for the remainder of 2014/15.
