Flax inventories in country elevators continue to rise late in the 2015/16 marketing year and at 52,500 tonnes, are well above normal levels. That’s in contrast to last year when stocks declined and the 10-year average which shows steady inventory levels. These comfortable stocks will allow elevator bids to remain flat through the remainder of 2015/16.
