Flax exports tend to start the year fairly slowly, but two early bulk export shipments have the year-to-date pace at 58,000 tonnes. Aside from small volumes moving to the US, bulk shipments have moved to the EU and China. Exports will likely turn quiet again over the next few weeks as inventories at terminal elevators are low, signalling limited sales in the short-term.
