February 9, 2017 Flax Chart, Flax News 0 Comments In late 2016, linseed prices in western Europe jumped due to restricted Russian imports. That prompted an increase in Canadian bids as European buyers looked elsewhere for supplies. Since then, Russian trade has partly resumed and European prices have come US$55 per tonne off the highs. So far, Canadian bids have remained relatively steady.
