Flax Chart of the Week
StatsCan estimated Mar 31 flax stocks at 395,000 tonnes, compared to 361,000 tonnes the previous year and the highest since 2010. With the solid export pace so far in 2014/15, these inventories are viewed as well balanced, not burdensome. In its S&D, StatsCan showed Aug-Mar exports at 460,000 tonnes, nearly 100,000 tonnes more than last year at the same time.
