Chart of the Week
Flax exports picked up just before the Christmas break, not surprising for that time of year. Exports for week 20 included 12,000 tonnes through the west coast while 35,000 tonnes went through Thunder Bay and St. Lawrence ports. Together with some solid volumes the previous weeks, licensed exports are now 140,000 tonnes, compared to 180,000 last year.
