Russian flax exports slowed slightly in November, but Kazakhstan was ramping up exports, moving 45,000 tonnes. A large portion of that flax is headed for Europe and the fact that European prices remain under pressure at US$430 per tonne is a strong signal that supplies are comfortable, helped by steady arrivals from Russia and Kazakhstan.
