Farmer deliveries of flax have been trending lower for several weeks as the end of the marketing year approaches. Deliveries in shipping week 48 were 2,200 tonnes versus the average of 10,200 tonnes. Largely, this slowdown is the result of quiet export demand with only limited volumes moving to the US in recent weeks and no overseas movement.
