Midwinter is a seasonal low for flax exports and this February was no exception. Total volumes dropped to 32,000 tonnes, slightly below average. Exports to the US were steady but below normal while volumes to China dipped. In March, a rebound occurred in Chinese volumes, and growing stocks in Thunder Bay signal an upcoming European shipment.
