Commercial inventories of flax have risen considerably in the past few weeks, in contrast to the normal tendency for supplies to decline. Exports have been very quiet in the past few weeks and even with modest farmer deliveries, supplies have expanded. That said, the buildup in commercial stocks points to export sales coming up in the coming weeks.
