Flax bids in western Canada showed a bit of strength a few weeks agoon slower farmer selling. Since then however, bids have mostly moved sideways as export business is only routine. The period of seasonal weakness is ahead, which could cause bids to soften further, although new-crop bids have remained steady, likely limiting the downside potential.
