Flax bids in western Canada have risen in the past few weeks, climbing out of the range that’s been in place since the beginning of 2016. The driver of these gains is the delayed harvest which is leaving flax out in the field. While bids are higher than they’ve been for several months, it’s still a relatively small move from a longer-term perspective.
