The latest Sask Ag crop report showed the flax harvest advanced to 92% complete as of Nov 21. In addition, the provincial yield was set at 26 bu/acre, confirming anecdotal reports. This suggests 540,000 tonnes has been harvested which, together with the 2015/16 carryover, will provide sufficient flax to meet the expected export program.
