July 12, 2017 Flax Chart, Flax News 0 Comments The latest estimate of US seeded area from the USDA came out recently at 283,000 acres, lower than its earlier intentions estimate of 313,000 and 24% below 2016 at 374,000 acres. This estimate already points to a smaller 2017 crop but challenging crop conditions in the northern US suggest an even larger drop-off in the 2017/18 US crop.
