October 2, 2017 Flax Chart, Flax News 0 Comments StatsCan recently released its model-based yield estimates for 2017/18. For flax, the yield was estimated at 19.4 bu/acre, down marginally from its survey-based estimate in August. The 2017 yield for Manitoba was up slightly from last year while Alberta and especially Saskatchewan dropped from last year. This yield estimate would put the 2017 flax crop at 502,000 tonnes.
