Flax Chart of the Week
Flax exports, including trucking to the US and containers, dipped to just over 40,000 tonnes in April, the least since October. Volumes in May shown by the weekly CGC data are 63,000 tonnes, a solid seasonal rebound. Those increased amounts were driven by shipments to Europe through Thunder Bay. Export volumes in June and July however could be fairly quiet again.
